REPENTANCE

Repentance, rooted in the Scriptures, is a profound process of acknowledging and turning away from sin while wholeheartedly turning toward God. It involves recognizing wrongdoing, experiencing deep sorrow and contrition for one's sins, confessing those sins to God, and actively pursuing a life of righteousness and obedience to His commandments. True repentance is marked by a genuine desire for reconciliation with God, a deliberate change in behavior, and a reliance on His grace and forgiveness to cleanse and renew the repentant heart. In essence, it's a transformative journey toward restoration, forgiveness, and a renewed relationship with the divine, guided by a sincere commitment to living in accordance with God's will.
